Apply knowledge of engineering technology & biological science to agricultural problems concerned with the cultivation, processing, procurement, & sale of chiles. Prepare reports, sketches, working drawings, specifications, proposals, & budgets for proposed sites or systems for the cultivation, processing, and procurement of chiles. Design agricultural machinery components & equipment, using computer-aided design (CAD) technology. Design structures for crop storage to preserve the quality of the produce. Test agricultural machinery & equipment of agricultural suppliers to ensure adequate performance & ability to supply required contracts in the U.S. & meet U.S. quality control standards. Travel to domestic/intemational production areas & markets. Require Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering/Agricultural Sciences & 5 years of work experience in production, supply, & sale of agricultural products.
